In 2020, The National Youth Brass Band Championships of Great Britain is coming to the Magna Centre for the first time. On Saturday 28 March, the Big Hall and Red Hall will play host to over 1,300 young people from all over the UK in four highly enjoyable sections.
The set test-piece for the Championship Section will be Saint-Saëns Variations by Philip Sparke. The Intermediate, Elementary and Debut sections will perform programmes of their own choice.
The event is scheduled to begin in the Big Hall at 10.00am, but the final start time will be confirmed before the event. Please visit www.bbe.org.uk for the latest updates.
The event will also host a trade and careers fair, as well as representatives of musical traders and manufacturers. There will also be showcase performances throughout what promises to be a very exciting day’s music making.

Tickets purchased will be collected from the desk at the entrance of Magna on the day of the contest.
