Robust safeguarding practices are essential for all banding organisations. Whether you’re BandSafe-confident, or just starting your safeguarding journey, BBE’s BandSafe resources are here to give you confidence in your safeguarding practices. In this drop in session, BBE’s Safeguarding Officer Sam Fisher will be available to answer your questions, provide support and outline how Brass Bands England can support your band. There will be a short presentation, followed by ample opportunity for attendees to ask questions and discuss anything related to the topic of safeguarding.
This event will be delivered online using the Zoom meeting platform, allowing attendees to ask questions and discuss the topic throughout the session.
Who is the session for?
Free to members, this drop-in session is aimed at anyone playing with, or working with a brass band...or any form of musical group. It will also benefit those who have already attended BandSafe training, now requiring support in preparing policies and procedures for your organisation. Your group may or may not work regularly with children (remember, safeguarding legislation applies to people of all ages) or run a thriving youth provision.
Need further safeguarding support?
