Horse and Bamboo Theatre, The Boo, are holding their annual Puppet Festival and want to include live music at the festival parade with the ‘BamBOOzle Band’. Can you help?! It’s free to take part in, with rehearsals at The Boo on: Sunday 19th June 3-4:30pm Sunday 26th June 3-4:30pm Sunday 3rd July 3-4:30pm Sunday 10th July 3-4:30pm Performance at Puppet Festival Parade – Sunday 17th July 4pm The aim is to help bring together children, young people, and adults of all ages within the local community to make and play music together and hopefully have lots of fun in the process! The minimum age for getting involved is 6 years, but other than that they’d love to hear from anyone with any instruments and of any ability. From shaking a tambourine, to expert level cornet playing, the aim is to get everyone involved! (Please bring your own instruments, other than a few percussion bits and bobs, they don’t have any instruments to offer.) If you want to be involved send an email to alicia@horseandbamboo.org.
