Arrow Valley Brass

Arrow Valley Brass is a classic English brass band based in Inkberrow, Worcestershire. We are a local group and welcome anyone of any ability to come and join us in the band room.

Having moved here in 2007 from our previous home in Alcester. Alcester Victoria Youth Band was founded in 1977 with a small ensemble of children in Alcester Town Hall, later becoming Arrow Valley Brass in 1989. Founded by Mr. David Stanley, his passion for music led him to conduct the band for over 40 years until he took a step back in 2019. Sadly, Dave passed away in 2023, he is greatly missed.

We are a busy band with concerts, park jobs, summer fetes, and contests. As a registered charity the band make appearances at community events as well as hosting fundraiser events. Our most recent fundraiser event saw us host a joint concert in memory of David Stanley. With help from Bretforton Silver Band and Alcester Silver Band the concert raised money to support the Music For Schools Charity. Currently contesting in the fourth section the band has enjoyed successes with four appearances at the national finals in both the third and fourth section.
