Gosport Solent Brass

GSB has its home in Gosport and supports the local community, playing at many civic events.The band is fortunate enough to have a fabulous relationship with the Mayor of Gosport and Gosport Borough Council, who continue to support the band in so many ways. In recent years, the band has put much effort into hosting our own concerts, showcasing the ability of our players and fulfilling an ambition to produce good quality performances. These concerts are attracting a growing audience and our fan base is widening.
Over the last 3 years, under the musical direction of Colin Garner, the band has achieved continual and improving contesting success, culminating in a 1st place result at the ODBBA Winter Contest located in Oxfordshire in February this year and then 1st place at the West of England Regionals, earning its first ever placing at the National Finals
