Tideswell Brass band have been playing in the village for over 120 years, and are a friendly bunch of players who have a full diary of local events and engagements throughout the year. Non-contesting at the moment, the band have in the past played in Sections 4 & 3 in area competitions, and still take part in the annual Whit Friday marches
Rehearsal Info:
The band rehearse on Monday and Friday evenings 7.30 - 9pm in the upstairs function room at The George Hotel, Tideswell. This is our temporary home after sadly losing our band room to a devastating fire in June 2015. We are continually fund-raising in the hope of re-building a new Community building in the village for multi-purpose use for all groups and clubs.
