Making Music Safe Annual Subscription

Making Music Safe is a partnership between BBE and Making Music that gives their members discounted access to BBE's award winning Safeguarding training, policy writing tools and use of our BOPA to cover groups for child performance licensing requirements.

Every organisation with child performers (compulsory school age) will need to consider Child Performance Licensing within their event planning and the system we offer will save you time and effort in dealing with local authority systems which often don't understand the needs of music organisations specifically and whose requirements might significantly change from one local authority to another. Particularly you won't need to use Local Authority approved chaperones just DBS checked adults.

The price of Making Music Safe is discounted, so you only pay for the resources relevant to your groups and it doesn't include all of the services that BBE offers such as responding to safeguarding queries or discounted DBS checks.

Included in Making Music Safe membership is:

  • Use of the National BOPA for Child Performance Licensing
  • BOPA Support and Advice
  • Use of the BandSafe safeguarding policy writing self-assessment toolkit
  • Discounts on BBE events including BandSafe Training events
  • Advice on legislative changes
  • Access to downloadable policies and information packs
