Event description

This group visioning and planning session will take your initial project idea and help develop it to make it a reality! This course is ideal if you’re at the very early stages of project planning or you need support in visioning a creative project for your band. This session is ideal for any band who has an anniversary or significant event they are wishing to celebrate and want to start fundraising for.

What will the course cover?

Across the two sessions you will cover:

• Aims and objectives
• Community outreach
• Project partners
• Mapping out your project, exploring timescales and budget
• Attracting funders
• Delivering, evaluating and reporting on the project

Who will be delivering the training?

This course will be delivered by BBE’s Fundraising Manager Beth Lambert and Chief Operating Officer Sarah Baumann.

Along with the two 2-hour live training sessions on Zoom, attendees will be provided with a workbook and access to the training resources after completion. After the group session, all attendees will be offered a free search for two funds for the project mapped out in the session.

Why should I attend?

Creative projects outside of your usual concert and contest schedule are a fantastic way of engaging new members, recruiting new players, developing your audiences and celebrating a significant event. This training course will:

• Give you practical ideas and examples of projects in line with your organisational aims
• Ensure your organisation is prepared to deliver a new project 
• Network and gain inspiration from other attendees' projects
• Offer advice and support regarding fundraising for your project 

Who is this training for?

This training is ideal for anyone in your organisation leading on fundraising or project delivery. To get the most out of the training we would recommend more than one person from the same band attend the session. This small group session is limited to attendees from four organisations.

How much does it cost?

This training course is currently only available to BBE members, for £60 per attendee.

This training is delivered across two sessions (10-12pm) on Saturday 2 & 23 November. There will be tasks to complete in between the two sessions.
