Event description
Calling all brass band changemakers – this is your moment. Join us in Durham this September as we pave the way for ‘The Next Generation’ in brass banding.
Whether you’re a player, conductor, teacher, composer, organiser, or simply love being part of the banding world, The Brass Band Conference is where the future of brass bands comes into focus.
Think of it as a one-day festival of ideas, learning, networking and inspiration. You’ll hear from passionate people shaping the future of brass music, take part in workshops and discussions, and come away with fresh ideas, new skills and connections that can power your musical journey.
Why should I come? Because your voice matters. The brass banding world is evolving, and it needs your energy, creativity, and perspective to thrive. Whether you're dreaming of innovating in your own band, or just love playing - this event will connect you with opportunities and people who can help make it happen.
