The World’s premier brass band entertainment festival returns to the North East to our partners at Brass in Concert, this time with a chance to hear the very best rising talent in the world of brass.
The Youth Brass in Concert Championship will feature five outstanding youth bands, each presenting a short programme in pursuit of the coveted title “Youth Brass in Concert Champions”.
After the traditional draw for the order of play, competing bands for the Youth Brass in Concert Championship will perform as follows:
- Houghton Area Youth
- Elland Silver Youth
- Lions Youth Brass
- Enderby Youth
- Youth Brass 2000
The Brass in Concert festival is widely recognised as a North East Success Story since its creation in 1977 and is the leading event of its kind in the world, appealing to all ages and lovers of all forms of music and entertainment.
These young musicians will no doubt go on to play in some of our nation’s top brass bands, which you’ll get the chance to hear later that afternoon at the main Brass in Concert Championships (separate booking is required). Why not come and lend them your support?
