Following the success of their first course back in June, the North East Midlands Youth Brass Band (NEMYBB) is delighted to announce a partnership with the Nottinghamshire Music Hub ensuring the future of the band until the end of 2017. Again a star line-up of tutors will be on hand to work with the young players. Musical Advisor Mike Fowles commented, “The funding being secured is excellent news. The encouragement of the next generation of musicians is vital to ensure the future of live music in society.” Now part of Inspire who deliver culture, learning and libraries for Nottinghamshire, Elaine Atkinson, Manager of Nottinghamshire Music Hub commented “We are pleased to be able to support young brass players in Nottinghamshire. The county has a strong brass tradition and partnering opportunities like this ensure that continues.” The date for the next course is Sunday 27 November 2016.
