Ever wondered what the Brass Bands Archive is all about? Perhaps you’ve wanted to visit in-person but want to know more about the contents before heading up to its home at the University of Huddersfield? Well, register for the upcoming ‘Introduction to the Brass Bands Archive’ webinar to find out all you’ve been wanting to know.

Hosted by our Archivist, Danielle Spargo, on Monday 17 June, in one hour attendees will learn all about this unique collection of band memorabilia. This includes:

  • The history of the Brass Bands Archive
  • Where it’s based and how to access
  • How to donate
  • Highlights from the collection

This is the perfect opportunity to get to know the Archive and those behind keeping the history of brass banding preserved for future generations. In addition to this webinar, you can get a glimpse into what the Archive holds via the Brass Bands Blog, Brass Bands Archive Instagram, and the newly launched Brass Band Podcast: Archive Edition.

The webinar is free for BBE Members and £10 for non-members. There will be a chance to ask questions at the end of the session.
