To mark the launch of a new newsletter and revamped website, Brass in Concert is giving away ten pairs of tickets to this year’s event, the 45th annual Brass in Concert Championship, taking place on Saturday 19 November at Sage Gateshead.

The competition is now open and will run until 9am on Monday 27 June when ten winners will be drawn at random from newsletter subscribers. Winners will be informed that day, prior to the event’s on sale date of 28 June, meaning that alongside gaining free places, winners will also be the first to get their hands on tickets. Winning tickets will be allocated in the stalls, some of the best seats in the house. In the interest of fairness, individuals are asked to only register one email address and those appearing to have submitted multiple entries will be excluded from the draw.

More than just a day out

Brass in Concert’s new newsletter aims to inform the public about everything else Brass in Concert does alongside the Championship day, including its celebrated Elementary Programme, which last year saw all of the North East's music hubs join forces to deliver a series of online workshops for young performers. By attending Brass in Concert, ticket buyers are directly supporting that work.

Brass in Concert Chair, Paul Beere, commented: “As an organisation whose main attraction only takes place once a year, our new newsletter will give us an opportunity to stay in touch with our loyal audience about everything else we’re doing, including the fantastic Brass in Concert Elementary Programme, plus provide the latest all important announcements about the main event.”
