BBCA at the Brass Band Conference

The BBCA was delighted to be present at the Brass Band Conference on 22nd October at the LifeCentre, Greater Manchester.  Chair James Holt, John Fricker and other Exec members were there to meet delegates and promote the BBCA.

BBCA Chair James Holt commented:

“It was fantastic for the Brass Band Conductors’ Association to be involved in the Brass Band Conference this year. From the outset of my appointment as Chair it was very evident that to be most beneficial to our membership we had to work with leading banding organisations and this opportunity represented just that. I am grateful to BBE for their continued support and the opportunities they afford our organisation. This was an excellent day for anyone with an interest in banding.”

Wychavon Festival of Brass - 29 October

At the end of October members of the team made the trip to the ever-popular Wychavon Festival of Brass held in Evesham. Some to take part, one to adjudicate and others to be available on the BBCA trade stand.

They were there to discuss the BBCA’s exciting programme of outreach, the mentoring scheme, have their brains picked on a certain bar or score or just to chat, and were pleased to speak to some potential new members.

Brass Band Conductors’ Association Membership (BBCA) includes free individual membership of BBE. Find out more about the benefits of BBCA membership, and how to join the BBCA.
