Skelmersdale Prize Band

Skelmersdale Prize Band are passionate about making music in the community and committing to a high musical standard of performance in band contents. We love taking part in a Theatre Production of Brassed Off in Southport, May 2025. The band has risen in consecutive years from the 4th Section to the 1st section in 2025 and has continued to attract experienced players. We play in the 1st section within the North West regional area. Based out of our West Lancashire band room, the band enjoy regular concerts and marches around the North West as well as competing in contests around the country. Our aim is to provide a fun but energetic atmosphere for all brass musicians looking to progress their banding career.
