Reading Spring Gardens is a brass band that has been entertaining the community in and around Reading since 1903 and is synonymous with the late legendary trumpet player Derek Watkins and his family who were founding members of the band. Today, the band enjoys a renewed success on the concert and competition stage inspired by the celebrated musical directorship of David Ruel.
Rehearsal Info:
Rehearsals are held on Thursday evenings at 8pm to 10pm at Christ Church, Crockhamwell Road, Woodley, Reading RG5 3LA.
Additional rehearsals may be held at the discretion of the band on Tuesday evenings preceding a major performance.
