How can I make a nomination?
If you would like an organisation or individual to be recognised, complete the online nomination form. If you prefer, you can download a copy of the nomination form and return it to us via post or email.
The closing date for 2022 nominations is noon on 13 May 2022.
Nominations can be made by anyone who is not a trustee or member of BBE staff. BBE will not announce the name of the nominee.
How does the award selection process work?
The awarding panel will be made up of a panel of BBE trustees and staff. With the exception of the Lifetime Achievement Award, where one outright winner will be selected, the panel will select the top 4 finalists per award category.
The top four finalists in the new 'Band Project of the Year' award will then be selected through a public vote held prior to the conference.
All award winners and those who've made it to the top 4 finalists in each category will be invited to the Awards presentation.
The Award presentation
The award winners will be announced at the Brass Bands Conference, presented by Brass Bands England. In 2022 this event will be held at the Life Centre, near Manchester and will take place on Saturday 22 October. For each award winner there will be a memento to keep.
