Brass Bands England is proud to recognise those individuals and organisations in the banding world that have made an exceptional contribution to brass banding. Be it through inspiring young people, tireless dedication, leading imaginative creative projects and collaborations, or bringing about positive social change. There is plenty to be celebrated!
Following a successful nomination window, we're now pleased to announce the shortlist. Take a look at the nominees below:
Band Project of the Year
The Band Project of the Year award is decided by the public; show your support for your favourite via the online voting form.
Outstanding Contribution Award
Young Bandsperson Award, supported by ABRSM
Services to Youth Award
Brass Band Conductor Award supported by the Brass Band Conductors' Association
Green Hero Award (NEW)
Awards ceremony
Winners of all awards will be announced during a special ceremony at The Brass Band Conference 2024, taking place in London on Saturday 19 October. Tickets are now on sale.
Following feedback from last year, the Lifetime Achievement Award will now be decided by a board.
