Join the world famous Besses Boys’ Band for a wonderful evening of live brass band music at their annual Summer Concert.
The band take to the stage at the Derby High School on Saturday 5th July for what will be a wonderful evening of live entertainment featuring special guests, Besses Boys’ Training Band.
The World Famous Besses Boys' Band are a local first section brass band and registered charity based in Manchester, North West England. They provide music services to the local community and have performed throughout Great Britain, Europe and Australia.
The band have had numerous television appearances and have performed to high-class figures and Royalty including Princess Anne, Prince Edward and Her majesty, the late Queen Elizabeth II
In recent years the band received the King’s Award for Voluntary Service. Equivalent to an MBE, KAVS is the highest Award given to local voluntary groups in the UK, and they are awarded for life.
