Four days of brass banding events in the City of Birmingham!
The European Brass Band Festival 2022 will take place 28 April – 1 May in Birmingham, UK.
The festival encompasses a number of events, including the European Brass Band Championships, which will take place at Birmingham’s Symphony Hall on Saturday 30 April and Sunday 1 May 2022.
The festival programme will include:
- Prelude: The Band of HM Royal Marines and The National Youth Brass Band of Great Britain (7.30pm Thu 28 Apr, Town Hall Birmingham) - All tickets £15
- European Composers Competition with Grimethorpe Colliery Band (7.30pm Fri 29 April, Town Hall Birmingham) - All tickets £15 (competition entry information)
- The European Youth Brass Band Competition (9am Sat 30 April, Symphony Hall Birmingham) - £15 (Grand Tier or Choir)
- The European Brass Band Championship: Set Test (2.30pm Sat 30 April, Symphony Hall Birmingham) - £49 (Grand Tier or Choir)
- The European Brass Band Championship: Challenge Section and Championship Own Choice (9am Sun 1 May, Symphony Hall Birmingham) - £55 (Grand Tier or Choir)
- Gala Concert with the Louis Dowdeswell Big Band and the Cory Band (8pm Sun 1 May, Symphony Hall Birmingham) - £38 (Grand Tier or Choir)
- Competitors' Party (Sun 1 May, Symphony Hall Birmingham)

When can I book for an EBBF event?
General ticket sales for all events will go on sale on Friday 10 December 2021.
Along with individual ticket options, a Festival Combi Ticket will be available to purchase, for £125, giving access to all events on Saturday 30 April and Sunday 1 May, with seats available in the stalls, circle and upper circle.
