Location
Harry is an internationally-performed composer and conductor, based in his native Cornwall. He learnt to play with Porthleven Town Band, initially as percussionist before a lateral move to baritone. He went on to study composition and conducting at Trinity Laban, where he quickly gained a reputation as a conductor, particularly of new and contemporary music. Whilst at Trinity Laban he formed the Apollo Consort, an ensemble dedicated to performing music written by Trinity Laban students. Alongside his studies he remained involved in brass bands, making his first steps in conducting this medium with Richmond Brass. Upon completion of his studies, Harry returned to Cornwall and was soon invited to take up the post of Musical Director with Pendennis Brass.
