Bold as Brass Contest

10 bands will perform over the course of the free event, each taking part in a 6-minute march across the museum site before a 20-minute set. You, the audience, will have the chance to cast your vote in the People's Choice competition!

In addition to the fantastic music, there will be street food available and the opportunity to see a silk banner - synonymous with mining heritage - painted. No booking or registering is required for this free event, so bring the whole family down to the National Coal Mining Museum for England for what promises to be a fantastic day out.
