Rosie has been involved with the Brass Band Conductors' Association since October 2019 when the Association partnered with Brass Bands England (BBE). She is the Membership Services Manager of BBE and in June 2021 became the Secretary of BBCA, taking on the organisation of the BBCA's Conducting Competition at Eccles Town Hall as one of her projects as well as the organisation's admin and website.
Whilst not a conductor Rosie is a life-long bander, and grew up as a conductor's daughter. She played horn with the Hall Royd Band, Shipley and Home Charm Paints Thornhill Band, Dewsbury, before moving to the Saddleworth area (home of Whit Friday) in 1993 and joining Greenfield Band. In 2000 she joined Delph Band, enjoying success at the Areas, Nationals and appearing on Coronation Street.
