About this event
The hugely popular Buxton Well Dressing Carnival takes place on Saturday 12 July. At 2pm the showpiece Carnival Parade commences, led by the 2025 Buxton Well Dressing Queen and accompanied by colourful floats, fancy dress characters and bands including the Burbage Band of Buxton.
This special occasion is free to enjoy and draws in thousands of people annually. In addition to live music, visitors can also enjoy a day-long programme of supporting events including a dog show, community stalls, duck racing and a fun fair.
