Congratulations to CJ Wu! Winner of this year's Brass Band Conductors' Association annual Conducting Competition. BBE's Rosie Banham met CJ on Saturday to present her with her winner's trophy. The presentation took place at the BBC's Media City in Salford, where CJ had just completed her final conducting exams, leading the BBC Philharmonic.

Congratulations are also due to Gaddiel Dombrowner who won second place in the competition, and Denis Salvini who won third place.

The Brass Band Conductors' Association brings conductors together to deliver training, network, share learning. Membership costs £44 a year and also includes BBE membership. The assocation is lead by its new Chair, James Holt.
